I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this because I'm genuinely confused – I replaced the dead battery in my 2018 Toyota Corolla with a brand new Amaron 50Ah about two weeks ago, and while the car starts perfectly fine now, I've noticed a few odd things happening that weren't there before. The dashboard lights sometimes flicker for a second when I start the car, the fuel consumption display reset itself to zero, and the power windows seem to move slower than they used to, which makes me wonder if there's something wrong with the installation or if the battery is faulty somehow. I've checked the terminals and they're clean and tight, so I don't think it's a connection issue, but I'm not sure if these are just normal quirks that happen after a battery change on modern cars or if I should be concerned. I remember reading somewhere that some cars need to have the battery "registered" or the ECU reset after a replacement to avoid weird electrical behaviour, but I thought that was only for luxury brands. I came across amaroncarbattery.ae/50ah-battery-replacement-dubai/ while looking for guidance, but I wanted to ask the community – has anyone experienced weird electrical gremlins after putting in a new Amaron battery, and did they eventually sort themselves out or did you need to take the car to a mechanic? Also, is there any kind of reset procedure I should do, like disconnecting the battery again or leaving the car in accessory mode for a while? Really don't want to ignore this if it's a sign of something more serious. Any advice would be massively appreciated.
