I've been driving my 2016 S-Class for about two years now and it's always been a dream, but recently I've started to notice this low-level rattle from the front suspension whenever I drive over cobblestones or rough patches of road, and it's really taking the edge off the magic carpet feel that made me fall in love with the car in the first place. I've taken it to a general garage for a quick look and they said it might be the stabilizer bar links or possibly the lower control arm bushings, but they weren't confident enough to give me a definite answer without taking things apart and charging me for a full diagnostic. I'm not opposed to spending money on proper work, but I want to make sure I'm taking it to somewhere that actually knows these air suspension systems inside out rather than a place that'll just guess and replace parts until the noise goes away. Also, what kind of cost am I looking at for something like replacing stabilizer links and bushings on one of these cars?
